Course Overview
Memorization Built Around Consistency
Memorizing the Holy Quran is a gradual journey.
Progress does not depend only on how much a
student can memorize in one sitting; retaining
earlier portions is equally important. For
this reason, the Hifz program combines new
memorization with regular revision instead of
focusing only on completing new pages.
At the beginning, the teacher considers the
student's reading ability, memory, available
study time and previous memorization. A
realistic lesson amount can then be selected.
Some students may comfortably learn a larger
portion, while younger or newer learners may
make better progress with shorter passages.
During live classes, the student recites the
assigned portion from memory. The teacher
listens carefully, identifies mistakes and
helps correct pronunciation or forgotten
words. Previous lessons are also reviewed so
that memorized passages remain active rather
than gradually becoming difficult to recall.
The aim is to develop a sustainable routine.
Consistent study, careful recitation and
repeated revision can create a stronger
foundation than rushing through large portions
without enough review.
