Course Overview
Understand the Rulings Behind Daily Worship
Many Islamic practices are part of everyday
life: performing Wudhu, offering Salah,
fasting during the month of Ramadan and
observing the requirements of purification.
Knowing the relevant rulings helps a person
carry out these acts with greater awareness
and confidence.
The Fiqh Jafaria course introduces students
to practical rulings according to the Jafari
school of Islamic jurisprudence. Lessons are
organized by subject so that learners can
understand the principles and common situations
connected with each area.
Instead of simply memorizing a long list of
rulings, students are encouraged to understand
when a ruling becomes relevant. Practical
examples can help explain situations related
to purification, prayer, fasting and other
aspects of religious responsibility.
The course is educational in nature. Where a
personal or complex religious question requires
a specific ruling, students should refer to the
current rulings of the Marja they follow.
